Formación

The Green Recruitment Company is in search of a Biofuel BD Director.

The candidate will be responsible for the origination, negotiation, and management of biofuel production.

The role will develop strategic relationships with suppliers, analyze market trends, and ensure the sustainable supply of raw materials in line with the company’s objectives.

Responsibilities :

Identify, develop, and manage a network of feedstock suppliers (used oils, animal fats, agricultural waste, among others).

Negotiate supply contracts and long-term agreements to ensure competitive and stable volumes.

Explore new sourcing opportunities in national and international markets.

Coordinate logistics and supply chain to optimize time and costs.

Monitor feedstock supply and demand trends, regulations, and changes in the global market.

Evaluate prices, margins, and arbitrage opportunities between different markets and supply sources.

Develop pricing models and hedging strategies to mitigate volatility risks.

Ensure all purchases comply with environmental regulations and sustainability certifications (ISCC, RED II, etc.).

Work with ESG and Compliance teams to ensure traceability and certification of feedstocks.

Coordinate audits and regulatory reporting related to the commercialization of raw materials.

Build and maintain strategic relationships with producers, traders, industry associations, and regulatory bodies.

Coordinate with internal teams (production, finance, legal, and sustainability) to optimize feedstock integration into the value chain.

Represent the company at industry fairs, conferences, and events.

Required Profile :

Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, International Trade, or related disciplines.

Preferably trained in raw materials markets, biofuels, or sustainability.

5+ years of experience in feedstock origination and commercialization, agricultural raw materials, or energy markets.

Experience in contract negotiation, supplier management, and international logistics.

Knowledge of applicable regulatory frameworks and sustainability certifications.
