The Strategy, Transformation, and Regulatory affairs department is responsible for defining and executing the company's strategic vision , leading transformation projects , and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. We are a dynamic and collaborative team, that works cross-functionally with all departments, ensuring alignment of corporate strategies and fostering collaboration to achieve common goals. Our mission is to lead the company's strategy and transformation, driving growth by innovation and operational efficiency.

Strategy Team is responsible for leading the creation, implementation and execution of Telefónica Global Solutions business strategy , defining bold strategic journeys and key transformation projects, leading finally them to success.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

TGSol provides services to more than 1.700 customers in more than 170 countries. We provide services to Corporate Multinationals and International Wholesale customers. We commercialize a portfolio of 8 key business families that we provide over a global network with more than 100 nodes around the globe and more than 200 agreements with local and global service providers. We manage more than 15 different technologies and platforms for data connectivity, voice, satellite, messaging, roaming and outsourcing solutions.

Within this complex business environment , Strategy leader will :

• Build and evolve Telefónica Global Solutions Equity Story
• Lead Telefónica Global Solutions Strategy Planning Process, aimed to create business sustainable growth and efficiency.
• Telefónica Global Solutions Strategic plan will :
• Be based on market and company’s bold insights
• Be ahead of trends
• Define clearly our competition fields
• Create a true source of differentiation that beats market
• Be free of bias
• By ensuring balance between commitment and flexibility, Strategy Manager will translate our Strategy Plan into a transformation plan that ensures its implementation and impact.
• Lead the execution of such defined transformation plan.
• For achiving TGSol Strategy Team objectives, TGS Strategy Manager will :
• Lead strategy team to take a leap into its next level of maturity and leadershipç
• Define and set optimal internal and external relationships
• Define KPIs and build dashboards to prove Strategy delivered value

NATURE OF PROBLEMS & CHALLENGES

Telefónica Global Solutions Strategy Manager will face a variety of complex problems and challenges related to their objectives and main activities.

• Be adaptable, innovative, and strategic in his / her approach to ensure the company's success in the B2B international telecommunications market.
• Lead Strategy team, creating a unique vision that aligns different Telefónica Global Solutions teams objectives and medium term development.
• Manage complex and multiple relationships among TGS areas as well as with global units and local OBs teams.
• Challenge different businesses targets and visions to create an unique company vision and mission that lead us to sustainable growth.
• Ensure value-based Strategy Plan and its implementation.

Education Required

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Telecommunications, Engineering or a related field, Master's degree preferred.

Professional Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in the telecommunications industry, with at least 4 years in Management roles.
• B2B Segment Knowledge : In-depth knowledge on the B2B segment within the telecommunications industry, including market trends, regulatory environment, and competitive landscape.
• Project Management : Proven experience in managing complex strategic projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
• Leadership : Demonstrated leadership experience, including leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
• Communication : Proven communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present strategic recommendations to senior management and stakeholders
• Problem-Solving : Experience in identifying and resolving strategic issues and challenges
• Proven record of successfull :
• Minimum of 5 years of Strategic Planning within the B2B segment of a telecommunications service provider.
• Minimum of 3 years of planning of business and commercial objectives for a B2B telecommunications company.
• Lead internal and external briefing on company’s Equity Story and Strategy.
• Minimum of 3 years of leading Global Telefónica Group internal relationships to align different Global and local units plans and goals.

LANGUAGES

• Fluent in Spanish and English.
