Get ready for the incredible grand opening of Rosas Café in Sotogrande! We are excited to announce that, following the success of our first Rosas Café in Marbella in 2018, we are bringing a new culinary experience to the vibrant port of Sotogrande at the end of July! We are looking for passionate and talented individuals to join our team. If you have a knack for culinary excellence, creativity, and creating unforgettable moments for customers, we want you with us!

Position: General Manager

The General Manager is responsible for leading the successful operation, finances, and people management of the café, ensuring health and safety standards and sales targets are met. They will coordinate efficient operations by collaborating with their team to ensure Rosas Café procedures are followed, maintaining and strengthening the brand reputation through excellent customer service and high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the operations of Rosas Café.
• Recruit staff who will contribute to the café's atmosphere and deliver exceptional service.
• Ensure all new staff receive proper training, including induction, operational, and leadership training.
• Lead and mentor staff to develop skills aligned with brand values and customer promises.
• Manage the floor, task allocation, and provide clear direction to staff.
• Handle customer complaints professionally to ensure positive experiences.
• Discipline staff as required, in consultation with the Operations Manager.
• Hold regular team meetings and create action plans for operational and sales improvements.
• Create and manage annual sales and expense budgets.
• Minimize wastage, shrinkage, and loss, managing stock levels, labor, and costs to meet sales and profit targets.
• Complete and approve staff rosters, achieving budgeted labor costs.
• Manage cash control procedures, investigate discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare monthly P&L statements and develop improvement action plans.
• Provide input on product range based on customer feedback and sales opportunities.
• Ensure food and product standards are consistently met, including proper ordering and stock management.
• Maintain equipment in excellent condition and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Create a safe, secure, and healthy workplace environment.
