We are looking for a General Accountant to join the Finance Shared Services Center. Following our accounting standardized practices, you will be responsible for the general accounting postings and the preparation of the financial statements of the companies managed or controlled by FSSC to ensure compliance with legal, accounting and internal regulations, as well as compliance with Grifols procedures.

What your responsibilities will be

• Analytical review of balance sheets : review variations of balance sheet accounts and ensure their correctness and ensure correct treatment of accounts in accounts of other departments and ensure clarity of accounts.
• Support in the preparation of financial statements : support in external auditing, support in internal reporting and fulfillment of Annual Financial Statements.
• General accounting : accounting of general accounting transactions, review and reconciliation of transactions between group companies and follow up of accounts coming from other departments.

• Economics, Business Administration degree or similar. To have secondary education (FP / CF) related to Finance / Administration, with proven experience in this field, will be valued.
• At least 2 years of proven accounting experience within similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of General Accounting.
• Advance level in English.
• Competency in SAP is a plus.
• Advanced competency in Excel.
• Great time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
• Detail oriented and high analytical skills.
