For the administration department of our Spanish branch, we are looking for a person for the accounting of overheads, tracking and monitoring the expenses and be able to analyse and control them in an efficient way.

The candidate will coordinate and support the different departments of the branch, which requires a person who likes to work as part of a team.

The demands and reporting of the group are becoming more and more demanding, so the candidate must be a very dynamic, enterprising and proactive person who will help us to control and improve our internal procedures.

The candidate will join the administration team to develop general accounting and treasury tasks and support to the different departments of the Spanish branch, this also required a person who likes to work in a team and is proactive and enthusiastic.

Main responsabilities

Under the responsibility (or supervision) of the Head of L&H Business Performance and Non-Technical Performance Iberia you will perform the following duties

• Overheads accounting tasks : Responsible for managing overheads accounting tasks, ensuring that all costs are accurately recorded in SAP and allocated
• Asset accounting and tracking : Handles asset accounting and tracking, maintaining detailed records of all branch assets and monitoring their depreciation as well as the asset inventory.
• Prepare accounting follow-ups : Prepares accounting follow-ups to ensure that all financial transactions are properly documented, and any discrepancies are promptly addressed.
• Handle payments to suppliers : Manages the process of handling payments to suppliers, ensuring that all invoices are paid on time and accurately.
• Manage treasury operations : Oversees treasury operations, including credit cards management, verification, control and follow-up. Elaborates the required cash reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations : Performs bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial records and ensure that all transactions are correctly recorded.
• Support the IT department : Provides support to the IT department in managing user incidents and maintaining equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations
• Reporting purpose : Collaborates in the preparation of requested reports, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall company goals and objectives : Collaborates with other departments to support overall branch goals and objectives, fostering a cooperative and productive work environment (e.g. Tax department, Telecommunications department…)
• Active collaboration in the development and implementation of projects related to the department
• May perform other duties

Key Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Advanced knowledge of the SAP tool
• Knowledge in office software tools, especially Excel and Power BI
• Desirable knowledge of the Concur tool
• Dynamic and proactive personality
• Team spirit and collaboration with the different departments of the Spanish branch.

Required training

• Bachelor's degree in business administration (ADE) or Economics
• Advanced level in English
• Knowledge of French will be appreciated
