Centre Jardineria in Calvià, Mallorca, is recruiting a Gardening and Nursery Assistant for a full-time role. You will support daily nursery operations, handle plant care, logistics, and site maintenance across a vibrant garden centre environment.

Responsibilities include loading deliveries, inspecting and watering plants, preparing merchandise for trucks, and general maintenance such as pruning and cleaning.

Formación

• Completed secondary education (ESO or equivalent).
• Native or fluent Spanish (C2 level).
• Good physical fitness and strength for heavy outdoor tasks.
• Availability for rotating Saturday morning shifts (8:30 to 13:30) is an advantage.
• A valid B1 driving licence and your own vehicle are highly appreciated.
• Plant care knowledge, English language skills, or experience in garden centres or agriculture welcome.
• A valid phytosanitary applicator certificate is valued.

Are you passionate about working outdoors with plants and looking for a reliable role in Mallorca? Centre Jardineria is currently seeking a motivated Gardening and Nursery Assistant to join the team in Calvià, specifically located in Magalluf. In this full-time position, you will support daily nursery and green-space operations, handling plant care, logistics, and site maintenance across a vibrant garden centre environment.

Your responsibilities will involve both practical plant handling and logistical tasks. Daily duties include:

• Loading and unloading plant deliveries and stock arriving at the centre
• Receiving, inspecting, positioning, and properly watering plants
• Preparing and loading merchandise into trucks for outgoing sales and deliveries
• Carrying out general maintenance tasks including pruning, weeding, and cleaning
• Organizing, arranging, and distributing merchandise across the retail and nursery areas

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications and requirements:

• Completed secondary education (ESO or equivalent)
• Native or fluent proficiency in Spanish (C2 level)
• Good physical fitness and strength to handle heavy loading and manual outdoor tasks
• Availability for rotating Saturday morning shifts (8:30 to 13:30) is an advantage
• A valid B1 driving licence and your own vehicle are highly appreciated
• Plant care knowledge, English language skills, or previous experience in a garden centre or agriculture are welcome pluses

Centre Jardineria offers a 10-month discontinuous fixed contract (fijo discontinuo) with the option for extension, providing a stable routine in southwest Mallorca. The position provides a gross annual salary of 17,615 EUR. You will work a standard full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 17:00, with potential rotating shifts on Saturday mornings.
