Gameloft Barcelona, the studio behind mobile gaming hits such as Despicable Me: Minion Rush, Asphalt 8, Asphalt 9, and Disney SpeedStorm, is hiring!

Our Barcelona studio is looking for a Game Designer with extensive experience in Multiplayer design.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design fun and immersive gameplay mechanics and meta-game features, focusing on multiplayer-related features based on project briefings.
• Conduct creative benchmarking, documentation, and analysis tasks.
• Follow-up, maintain, and continuously improve assigned features.
• Coordinate with art and development teams, working closely with the producer.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of basic Game Design principles (gameplay, learning curve, UI, difficulty and progression balancing, accessibility).
• Proven experience (3+ years) in multiplayer game design.
• Ability to convey ideas clearly and concisely, with detailed analysis and formalization of complex concepts.
• Proficiency in illustrating and prototyping ideas visually using industry-standard tools (Photoshop, PowerPoint, Figma, Confluence, SketchUp, 3D Studio Max, Unity, etc.).
• Knowledge of the classic console and freemium mobile game markets.
• Motivation and strong communication skills within a project team.
• Ability to accept and incorporate feedback to improve work quality.
• Good command of English.

Assets:

• Experience in racing games.
• Passion for racing games or being a racing gamer.
• High visual creativity.
• Ability to draw sketches and create digital images or videos.
