We’re looking for a Game Data Analyst to join our Analytics team. In this role, you'll analyze player behavior, collaborate with game teams, and help improve our games by driving retention and user conversion.

Using quantitative analysis, data science, statistics, and programming, you’ll generate insights that make a real impact at Socialpoint. To succeed, you’ll need to learn quickly, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and work closely with both analytics and game teams.

What will you do at Socialpoint?

• Work with game development teams to provide insights into user behavior and answer key business questions, turning data into actionable insights.
• Visualize and communicate analysis results to senior stakeholders, making data-driven recommendations to support decision-making.
• Design and analyze A/B tests and causal impact analyses to evaluate new features and changes.
• Educate stakeholders on data literacy and analytics best practices to empower autonomous and correct analysis.
• Participate in advanced analytics projects, collaborating with data scientists and analysts to develop data tools and products.

Requirements

• 2-3 years experience applying analytics to answer business questions and derive insights that drive value.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis.
• Experience with A/B testing.
• Strong skills in applied statistics; experience with Bayesian statistics is a plus.
• Experience creating dashboards and visualizations with tools like Tableau or Looker.
• A fast learner, meticulous, proactive, and pragmatic in balancing short-term and long-term goals.
• A team player capable of establishing effective collaborative relationships.
