Job Purpose And Overview

In the Industrial segment, develop and maintain sales of the company’s product range, seek out new business opportunities and products, while managing current business activities to include Key Account management responsibilities. Participate to cluster budget and apply the sales policy in place.

FUNDAMENTALS OF THE POSITION :

  • Commercial development of customer – 80% focus.
  • To prepare and implement the objectives and budget for your operating sector along with the N+1.
  • To develop effective and shared business plans for key customers.
  • Achieve budgeted sales and margin targets.
  • Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities to deliver profitable sales.
  • Develop a clear understanding of all Dawn capabilities and effectively communicate those to new and existing customers.
  • To manage all assigned accounts effectively, efficiently and profitably.
  • To continuously improve knowledge of the industry.
  • Develop key internal customer relationships - Commercial / NPD / Supply Chain / Marketing / Participate in S&OP.
  • To ensure effective & timely feedback to all team members in a way that allows personal development.
  • To ensure effective sales analysis on relevant area of responsibility and complete reports / sales funnel as required.
  • To complete weekly, monthly reporting in a timely & concise manner.
  • To communicate effectively with all other departments within Dawn Foods.
  • To provide regular Management Information to the N+1.
  • Promote any company products via attendance at company trade shows and exhibitions.
  • To work with the NPD team and marketing department in the development of new products for customers.
  • Manage and control overhead spend i.e. promotional funding, samples etc.
  • Operate in a cost-effective way.
  • Develop understanding of markets, customers and competitors, provide information on customers / market trends and competitors.
  • Any other reasonably requested duties.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS :

  • Experience in Own Brand and Branded product sales.
  • MS Office products (Intermediate level) and Salesforce.
  • Ability to travel, i.e. flying, driving and local overnight travel as required.
  • At least 10 years experience of working within the Bakery Industry.
