Job summary

Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (Santander CIB) seeks a Fund Finance Analyst based in Madrid to support subscription line facilities, NAV-based financing and ABL transactions for private capital clients. You will engage in the full transaction lifecycle, from origination to closing, with exposure to international fund managers and cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have strong financial modeling skills, experience in fund finance, and fluency in English, with Spanish proficiency

Qualifications

• Solid grounding in financial analysis, credit fundamentals and capital structures.
• Experience in Fund Finance, Structured Finance, credit analysis, M&A, Private Equity or related roles preferred.
• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related discipline; Postgraduate studies are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and interpret financial and cash flow models and prepare credit papers for internal approval.
• Support due diligence on fund structures, investors, uncalled capital commitments and fund documents.
• Assist in negotiating financing documentation and coordinating with Legal; assist with conditions precedents.
• Prepare marketing materials, pitches and client analyses to support origination with fund managers.
• Maintain transaction pipelines and internal reporting; support portfolio monitoring and covenant reviews.
• Collaborate with Risk, Legal, Capital and Markets to assess pricing, profitability and capital usage.
