Job summary

Pinnacle Fund Services seeks a Fund Accountant to join our Valencia team, supporting NAV production for Private Equity clients. You will collaborate with North America-based senior accountants and manage capital activity, cash activity, and fee accruals in a closed-ended fund environment.

The ideal candidate has strong English, solid bookkeeping skills, and a willingness to learn within the fund administration industry. This is a full-time, in-office role based in Valencia, Spain.

Qualifications

• High level of English, both spoken and written.
• Good knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping.
• Prior fund accounting experience is desired but not required.
• Understanding of closed-ended funds is desired but not required.
• Accounting designation desired but not required.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple demands, competing priorities, and constant change.
• Ability to allocate time effectively and manage tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of net asset value calculations on a timely basis
• Recording capital activity such as capital calls & distributions
• Recording cash activity and performing cash reconciliations
• Pricing portfolios in accordance with funds' offering documents
• Ensuring fund income and expenses, including management and performance fees, are accrued for and are in accordance with relevant accounting standards
• Preparing Investor Statements and contract notes
• Supporting responses to ad-hoc reporting requests as required by clients
• Manage own time and workload effectively, ensuring both internal and external deadlines are met
