Our solutions leverage cloud execution to maximize flexibility, accelerate implementation, and reduce costs. These include predictive analytics, Big Data, and decision management. GDS Modellica serves clients in 36 countries, including banks, insurers, retailers, and credit card issuers.

Tareas

We seek a responsible and ambitious individual with a positive attitude for the role of Functional Software Analyst within our fast-growing international software and consultancy firm, primarily serving clients in Spain, Europe, and LATAM. Our mission-critical products are installed at various credit institutions, where our demanding clients require fast and accurate delivery.

As part of the EMEA & LAC Delivery Team, managing premier customers across industries such as banking, telecoms, utilities, and insurance, the role involves designing, configuring, and testing client-specific systems using our proprietary tool DV360. Key responsibilities include:

1. Gathering requirements from customers and proposing designs.
2. Building and testing systems using our platform in collaboration with project teams.
3. Creating and executing test plans to ensure project standards are met.
4. Maintaining delivery documentation, including functional specifications.
5. Troubleshooting post-delivery bugs and issues.

Requirements

• Fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory; knowledge of additional languages and international experience are pluses.
• At least 2 years of software delivery experience related to Credit Risk Management, or a recent graduate with relevant skills.
• Bachelor’s or college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Strong responsibility, commitment, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and motivation to learn.
• Good communication skills and customer orientation.

Required Skills

• Programming languages such as R, Python, LUA.
• Database querying skills with SQL Server and MySQL.
• Experience with Application Servers and Webservices.
• Knowledge of XML and JSON formats.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio.

Additional (Nice to Have)

• Experience in Credit Risk Management, especially related to retail credit strategy and decision engines.
