Julius Baer in Madrid is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using .NET Core and Angular. You will contribute to RESTful APIs, backend services, and DevOps practices while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality software solutions.

The role requires strong OO programming knowledge, architecture understanding, and excellent English communication.

Formación

YOUR CHALLENGE

Responsible for designing, developing and testing software modules, ensuring optimal functionality and integration within complex systems. The role demands a combination of in-depth technical expertise and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to innovate and deliver high‑quality software solutions. Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using .NET and Angular. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality software solutions. Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical design decisions. Build and optimize database solutions, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services. Support CI/CD processes and contribute to DevOps best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring application stability and performance. Conduct code review. Continuously improve software quality through testing, automation, and engineering best practices.

YOUR PROFILE

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong hands‑on experience with .NET Core / .NET technologies and C#.
• Solid experience with Angular and modern frontend development practices.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases, including database design, query optimisation, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Good understanding of software architecture principles and application design.
• Strong knowledge of object‑oriented programming, design patterns, and data structures.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience working with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with NoSQL technologies such as Elasticsearch.
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum/SAFe environments.
• Experience with message brokers and event‑driven architectures.
• Experience with React.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
