Are you a passionate Quality Assurance Engineer?

We have an exciting opportunity to lead and empower a multicultural team.

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation for web applications.

Mandatory technical knowledge:

1. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies.
2. Extensive knowledge in test automation for Web Applications (frontend and backend) at different levels: unit, component, system and performance tests as well as contract tests (PACT).
3. Relevant experience in continuous integration and continuous delivery frameworks, tools (SonarQube, FOSS license scanning, TestRail) and best practices.
4. Knowledge of industry-standard tools for test automation and test management, as well as proficiency in software testing methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
5. Strong experience in building and managing distributed event-driven systems, utilizing technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Kafka.

Desirable technical knowledge:

1. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
2. Knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).

Experience (skills and years):

1. At least 5 years of practical experience testing web applications, with a significant focus on cloud technologies, microservices and event-driven architecture.
2. Identify, document, and track software defects using a bug-tracking system (JIRA).
3. Collaborate closely with developers to improve the quality and the performance of the application.
4. Embrace best practices and coding standards.
5. Oversee and contribute to the development of critical components of the software system.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between architectural decisions and development efforts.
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
9. Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

Conditions:

Location: FULLREMOTE.

Timetable: 40h/week. Flexible.
