We are seeking a Full Stack Web Developer to join a new Payments Ecosystem Scrum team. Your role will involve shaping and building our tools and products in the Payments area, creating and maintaining React/NextJS backoffice applications, participating in architectural design, and collaborating closely with backend API developers, testers, and product owners.

This is a greenfield project (no legacy software), allowing you to work with cutting-edge technologies. You will be part of a multicultural, geographically distributed team, primarily communicating online via audio and video conferencing tools.

The role requires flexibility as team members may work in different time zones, mainly in Europe and the Philippines. You should also be prepared to join an out-of-hours on-call support rota for the product's lifetime.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing, maintaining, and supporting payments back-office applications.
• Working in squads and occasionally solo, depending on business needs.
• Engaging with business stakeholders to understand their needs.
• Collaborating with architects, analysts, infrastructure specialists to develop technical proposals.
• Conducting Proof of Concepts when necessary.
• Providing immediate solutions during incidents.
• Participating in Agile (Scrum) development, including meetings, sprints, and planning.
• Delivering tasks on time and to standards.
• Suggesting improvements for applications.
• Assisting other developers and projects as needed.
• Supporting applications outside of regular hours during major sporting events (rota-based).

Skills & Experience Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Understanding of OOP, design patterns, separation of concerns.
• Experience with Microservices architecture.
• Good knowledge of HTTP and REST APIs.
• Proficiency with Bash, Linux, SSH, and Git.
• Markdown for documentation.

Core Technologies:

• Frontend: Next.js, React, Hooks, npm scripts, TailWindCSS, bundlers like Rollup and Vite.
• Backend: Node.js / Next.js APIs.

General Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of full-stack web development experience.
• Creative, analytical, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Attention to detail and quality.
• Team-oriented and highly organized.
• Experience with Agile and Jira.
