Job Description

We're looking for a Full-stack Web Developer to join our R&D team in Granada, Spain.

Our Technology:

We are the world leader in Resilient Positioning, Navigation and Timing (R-PNT) solutions that improve the reliability, performance, and safety of critical applications, and high-risk operations, even in GPS/GNSS-denied environments. We provide virtually fail-safe GNSS and PNT solutions for military and commercial applications worldwide, and ultra-precise synchronization (sub-ns) and frequency distribution for applications requiring a high degree of reliability and precision through White Rabbit PTP.

In addition, Safran has great expertise in Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) through several projects in aerospace with ESA to provide deterministic communications with zero-packet loss. Overall, we deliver highly dependable solutions that always have high accuracy and robust timing at their core.

The Position:

As a Full-stack Web Developer, you will be a key member of our R&D team in Granada, Spain. You will be involved in maintaining and developing new features for our time and frequency distribution equipment.

What you'll be doing:

• Determining the information architecture of our front-end embedded products
• Developing, optimizing, and specifying innovative operating concepts of our front-end embedded products
• Helping define and run usability tests
• Identifying opportunities for product performance, efficiency, and coverage improvements
• Working with the latest Resilient PNT and deterministic technologies

Job Requirements

What you Bring to Safran:

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Knowledge of web and software development
• Passion, energy, and motivation for an international environment
• Teamwork, organization, and autonomous working skills
• Web development experience: +2 years
• Experience in usability testing
• Technical knowledge of HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, JSON, jQuery, PHP, and web technologies
• Experience with REST-API
• Analytical skills and a solution-oriented working style
• Team player in an intercultural environment

Desirable experience:

• Embedded software development in C/C++
• CI/CD workflow
• Version control with Git
• Knowledge of SCRUM, JIRA, or agile methodologies
