Full-Stack Software Engineer (Angular and Java)

Join to apply for the Full-Stack Software Engineer (Angular and Java) role at WorkFlex.

WorkFlex is a B2B SaaS platform enabling employers to allow their employees to work from anywhere without compliance risks. We are looking for talented software developers to help build our next-generation platform. You will report directly to our Head of Engineering and be among the first team members. Our platform already serves 500+ clients, including Scout24, Biontech, Vodafone, and Flix, and we aim to grow further.

What you will do

1. Plan, develop, operate, and own our workation and business travel platform.
2. Set up cloud infrastructure and choose frameworks and technologies with the team.
3. Develop backend software using Spring Boot and Java.
4. Build frontends and UIs with Typescript and Angular, collaborating with product managers.
5. Work on innovative topics using state-of-the-art technologies, learning and growing in a fast-paced startup environment.

What you need to succeed

1. Passion for technology and coding.
2. Experience with Spring Boot and Java for backend, Angular and Typescript for frontend, with the ability to work in both areas.
3. Interest or experience with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
4. Knowledge of automated build and deployment processes using git and container solutions like Docker.
5. Familiarity with DevOps topics such as CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and SIEM.
6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented, remote environment with a strong sense of ownership.
7. Fluency in English.
