Job Description

Info about the team:

As a Patient Portal Team in the Integration area, we create embeddable widgets that Clinics and Doctors use to boost their efficiency and experience without leaving the software of their choice. In this business domain, you will collaborate with fellow engineers who are experts in PHP, .Net, Vue.js, and Electron.

There are 3 developers on the team: 2 Front-end and 1 on the Back-end side.

You will work closely with other Engineers, Team Leaders, Product Managers, Content Designers, Researchers, and a Data Analyst.

This role’s responsibilities

1. Designing modular and scalable frontend components that can be easily integrated across different platforms.
2. Ensuring secure and reliable communication between frontend applications and backend services, while managing the complexities of various APIs and data sources.
3. Discussing the choice of technologies, business decisions, and new features (it’s a great opportunity for Developers who are interested in building the whole product and are not focused only on code).
4. Creating scalable, innovative frontend and backend solutions used by users around the world.
5. You will be a part of the product team working in an agile approach delivering value for doctors and clinics.
6. You’ll investigate our current solutions, work on its stability and performance, refactor and maintain the code, and also build new functionalities.
7. Your main focus will be backend development (you will have the opportunity to work with others on topics in your area of interest) and also part of the front-end.
8. Taking care of the quality of our code base by creating documentation, utilizing coding standards, writing tests, and contributing to code reviews.

Qualifications

What experience and skills do you need to do a great job in this position?

1. Have more than 5 years of experience working on web applications.
2. You have practical experience of designing the backend architecture and APIs.
3. You work with PHP and Symfony.
4. You are proficient in working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
5. You know how to work with applications at scale.
6. You have worked in a product team before, so you understand business context and you’re product oriented.
7. You can communicate in English – both spoken and written - min. B2 level.
8. You have experience with Vue3 and Pinia.
9. You work with tools such as Git, ELK Stack, DataDog, GitHub Actions.
10. Having experience with layered architecture and strategic DDD concepts.
11. You have experience working with Docker and Kubernetes.
12. Understanding and having experience with Web Performance Optimization.

A salary adequate to your experience and skills between 45,000 and 60,000 euros. The range is broad so that we can accommodate our roles for all levels of experience, but we will show you the career ladder to explain where we see your skills and impact within the company. Your salary will be, now and always, 100% transparent to you;
