Job summary

MediaMarktSaturn Technology in Barcelona seeks a senior engineer to develop customer-centric features using React and Kotlin, while delivering robust backend services with Node.js, Express and Spring Boot. You will design APIs, integrate microservices, manage databases, and ensure cloud readiness with Google Cloud.

You will collaborate across teams to build scalable, secure web applications and drive best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript) and React.
• 5+ years of professional Kotlin experience.
• Strong knowledge of backend techs: Node.js, Express, Spring Boot.
• Extensive API design and microservices integration experience.
• SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Version control with Git.
• Cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud.
• CI/CD pipelines experience.
• Familiarity with payment gateways like Stripe/PayPal.
• Performance optimization for web apps.
• OOP languages (Java) and GitOps (Terraform, Helm, Flux) and Kubernetes.
