Responsibilities

The Payment & Basket Platform team is a foundational team working on our core stack to improve developer experience in the area. For this role, you will take ownership of our Backoffice Application Stack, used by Product Teams to build their individual UIs for internal stakeholders. The team focuses on Infrastructure, Backend Engineering and Frontend Engineering.

• Develop new features for the backoffice based on given requirements and user needs.
• Integrate our graphical user interfaces with the backend service landscape of Payment & Basket.
• Work closely with the technical product owner and engineers on scalable frontend solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high‑quality code.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or equivalent frontend development experience.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex frontend features within cross‑functional teams with growing independence.
• Strong background in building and maintaining production‑ready web applications using modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience designing reusable UI components and contributing to shared libraries and design systems.
• Proficiency in integrating APIs (REST/GraphQL) and ensuring application state consistency and performance.
• Knowledge of accessibility, testing, and performance optimization best practices with minimal supervision.
• Ability to plan and implement features based on user stories and technical requirements, and to support sprint planning, estimation, and refinement sessions.
• Experience with deployment, release, and monitoring workflows.
• Strong communication skills, able to translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders and provide constructive feedback in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Commitment to delivering reliable, maintainable, and well‑documented frontend solutions that meet organizational standards, user experience goals, and accessibility compliance.
