Full Stack Engineer - Business Applications

Location: Barcelona, Spain (Remote, Full-time)

Locus Robotics is a leader in the rapidly growing eCommerce order fulfillment optimization space. Our solution helps warehouse owners attain 2-3X efficiency improvements over cart-picking operations by empowering pickers to work collaboratively with our robots. We integrate with warehouse management systems, utilizing existing infrastructure. We are seeking an experienced, talented, self-motivated Full Stack Developer with a successful track record in modern UI and backend technologies. You will influence the technical direction of our products, improve core functionalities, and develop new features while maintaining our backend environment. This remote European role (must be based in England, Scotland, Spain, Poland, or Portugal) is ideal for someone thriving in a fast-paced startup environment and interested in robotics.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to software design and architecture, including design reviews
• Work with a talented team to maintain current systems and develop future generations of Robot / Warehouse Execution System
• Develop high-quality, automated unit-tested code for cloud-based and self-hosted SaaS products
• Participate in system, integration, and performance testing
• Own tasks as a motivated scrum team member
• Assist in troubleshooting customer issues and providing timely solutions
• Write test cases within automated frameworks
• Plan and deliver software in sprints within a Scrum environment
• Collaborate with UX designers, developers, and product managers
• Mentor junior team members
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of software development experience with SQL, C#, .NET, and object-oriented design
• Experience with API-first development, especially REST
• UI development experience with frameworks like React.js or Angular.js
• Expertise in multi-threaded application design and deployment
• Experience with microservices architecture and asynchronous messaging systems
• Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, preferably Microsoft SQL
• Analytical skills and attention to detail
• Experience with agile development and Scrum
• Test Driven Development experience
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) is a plus
• Knowledge of warehouse automation systems is a strong advantage
• Proficiency in English communication skills
