Full Stack Developer (Next.js + Python)
Location: Barcelona – Hybrid (2–3 days onsite)
Full-time | Permanent Contract
Experience: 2–3 years

About the Role

Join a collaborative and fast-paced Agile team where you’ll be working alongside experienced developers on cutting-edge web applications using React and Next.js, while learning backend best practices with Python (FastAPI) and AWS. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your full stack skills and contribute to AI- and data-driven products with real-world impact.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in building and maintaining modern web applications with Next.js and React.
2. Implement responsive UI using Tailwind CSS and utility-first styling principles.
3. Support backend development and integration using FastAPI and Python.
4. Contribute to unit and end-to-end testing with tools like Playwright and Cucumber.
5. Learn how to deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on AWS infrastructure.
6. Participate in Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives.
7. Collaborate with designers, developers, and product managers to deliver value.
8. Troubleshoot and debug UI and backend issues during the development cycle.

Qualifications – Must Have

1. 2–3 years of experience in frontend or full stack development.
2. Solid hands-on knowledge of React and familiarity with Next.js.
3. Experience working with Tailwind CSS or other utility-first CSS frameworks.
4. Understanding of REST APIs and frontend/backend integration.
5. Exposure to backend frameworks in Python, ideally FastAPI or Flask.
6. Comfortable with version control workflows.
7. Experience working in Agile environments, collaborating in sprints.
8. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
3. Basic knowledge of Docker and containerization.
4. Exposure to AWS services like Lambda, S3, CloudWatch.
5. Familiarity with data visualization libraries such as Chart.js or Recharts.
6. Experience with Storybook and component-driven development.
7. Awareness of code quality and security tools (e.g., SonarCloud, Snyk).
