Marfeel is a SaaS platform that provides key analytics solutions for publishers, bringing the data-driven revolution to newsrooms everywhere. The role :

This is what you will do :

1. Build interactive components for our products, using React, styled-components, storybook and other modern frontend tools
2. Develop backend services with node.js
3. Develop clean code that is simple and scalable, following standards and best practices
4. Implement new features and functionalities into our product
5. Work collaboratively to solve complex technical issues
6. Be part of a team working in an Agile environment with 1-week sprints
7. Collaborate with Developers, UX Designers, Product & Engineering Managers as well as other stakeholders to find the best solutions and delight our clients

This is you :

1. 5+ years of experience building software that works at web scale
2. Experience developing backend services with node.js
3. High level of understanding and experience working with relational and non-relational databases, such as MySQL, MongoDB, Clickhouse
4. You love investigating issues and figuring out the best possible solution
5. Familiar with end-to-end testing, integration testing and testing libraries, like JUnit or Jest
6. You love: pair-programming, TDD, collective-code ownership, continuous integration, iterative development and architectural design

We will be impressed by experience in :

1. Deploying large applications in the cloud
2. Familiar with CI and CD release cycles and have worked with Jenkins, Github actions, Docker
3. Knowledge / experience with Java / Spring
4. UX Design
5. Business oriented, with a data-driven mindset
6. An active contributor to an open-source community
