The role :

As a Full-stack JavaScript developer, your role will involve designing and implementing user interfaces, integration with databases and handling server-side logic to provide complete end-to-end solutions for our clients. You will work with a variety of libraries, frameworks and tools to develop and maintain our web applications. You will be responsible for ensuring that the application is performant, scalable, and maintainable, while also meeting project requirements and adhering to best practices and coding standards.

This is what you will do :

• Build interactive components for our products, using React, styled-components, storybook and other modern frontend tools
• Create interfaces using Javascript, React, Typescript, HTML and CSS
• Develop backend services with node.js
• Develop clean code that is simple and scalable, following standards and best practices
• Implement new features and functionalities into our product
• Work collaboratively to solve complex technical issues
• Be part of a team working in an Agile environment with 1-week sprints
• Collaborate with Developers, UX Designers, Product & Engineering Managers as well as other stakeholders to find the best solutions and delight our clients

This is you :

• 5+ years of experience building software that works at web scale
• Proficiency in both frontend and backend development using Javascript, Typescript, React & Node.js, have a strong understanding of databases, APIs, and web architecture, and be able to work with various libraries, frameworks, and tools
• Experience developing backend services with node.js
• Demonstrable experience with cross-browser JS and CSS development; strong understanding of HTML5 tags (functions and intent); solid experience with UI components
• High level of understanding and experience working with relational and non-relational databases, such as MySQL, MongoDB, Clickhouse
• You love investigating issues and figuring out the best possible solution
• Solid understanding of the web technology stack (i.e. headers, cookies, cross-domain restrictions, caching, optimization opportunities, junk and scroll performance, etc.)
• Familiar with end-to-end testing, integration testing and testing libraries, like JUnit or Jest
• You love : pair-programming, TDD, collective-code ownership, continuous integration, iterative development and architectural design

We will be impressed by experience in :

• Recent web technologies : 3D CSS transformations, Web Animation APIs, Web Workers, Javascript ES2020
• Deploying large applications in the cloud
• Familiar with CI and CD release cycles and have worked with Jenkins, Github actions, Docker
• Knowledge / experience with Java / Spring
• UX Design
• Business oriented, with a data-driven mindset
• An active contributor to a open-source community
