Descripción del empleo

The selected candidate will conduct research on the design and simulation of Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) networks and their potential satellite connections to support the EuroQCI initiative. This involves participation in various national and European projects, including research tasks, and the preparation of deliverables and publications.

Additionally, the candidate will research mixed quantum communication networks capable of implementing QKD protocols and entanglement distribution. This includes designing network architectures that support simultaneous management of both resources, as well as performing numerical simulations of different scenarios and technologies.

The candidate will also be expected to supervise related projects and internships in both areas of research.
