Job summary

DWS Group, Madrid, is seeking a Front End / UI Engineer, Associate, to join the Risk Navigator team. You will lead modern UI development using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, shaping frontend architecture and delivering intuitive interfaces for risk management workflows.

The role requires strong design sense, collaboration across locations, and ownership of UI quality. Fluent English is expected; German is a plus. Hybrid work options are available within a global, diverse environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on frontend development using JavaScript/TypeScript/React.
• Experience building modern, responsive UI for complex business apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of modern, responsive UIs with React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
• Shape UI architecture, components, and usability across the Risk modernization journey.
• Collaborate with analysts, product, and backend teams to translate requirements into UI solutions.
• Contribute to Java and Spring-based backend services when needed.
• Create reusable UI components and patterns to improve delivery speed and quality.
• Support full delivery lifecycle from design to post-release improvements.
