Job summary

We are seeking a mid-to-senior Front End / UI Engineer to join the Risk Navigator tech team in Madrid. You will drive modern frontend development using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS while collaborating with Java and Spring-based backend services.

You will help shape the frontend architecture, ensure usability, accessibility, and performance, and deliver scalable user interfaces for complex risk workflows. English fluency is required; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience in frontend technologies.
• Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS.
• Good eye for design, usability, and responsive interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to modern, responsive UI development using React, TypeScript, and related frontend tech.
• Shape the UI for Risk modernization, including architecture and component design.
• Collaborate with analysts, product stakeholders, and backend developers to implement end-to-end solutions.
• Create reusable UI components and patterns to improve delivery speed and quality.
• Support the full delivery lifecycle from design discussions to post-release improvements.
