About The Role

Software Engineers at Gr4vy join a new, collaborative team working across product, engineering, design, and other stakeholders. We operate in two-week sprints, sharing, reflecting, and iterating on our work.

Our platform uses JavaScript, React, and TypeScript for most frontend development. We employ unit, integration, and acceptance testing to drive design and ensure quality.

Key Responsibilities

As a software engineer, you will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver software used by merchants worldwide. Your work will include writing HTML, CSS, Python, and TypeScript to develop new features and refactor existing codebases for better maintainability. You should be comfortable writing modular code, understanding how your work fits into the bigger picture, and communicating effectively with team members. Your input will help shape product features through planning and development activities. We encourage sharing knowledge through code reviews, pairing, mentoring, and regular feedback.

Requirements

We seek developers experienced in TypeScript, preferably with React. Experience with libraries like Starlette and AsyncIO, and creating accessible HTML, is also valuable. A strong understanding of testing high-value features and software design principles is essential.
