YOUR CHALLENGE

• Collaborate in cross-functional teams using agile methodologies within a DevOps-centric environment.
• Design, implement, deploy, release, and monitor frontend applications, and participate actively in pull request reviews.
• Understand and translate business requirements into functional frontend solutions by engaging closely with stakeholders from various Julius Baer divisions.
• Participate actively in planning and feature refinement sessions.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to ensure frontend solutions align with Julius Baer’s overall architecture vision.
• Actively contribute to our Software Engineering communities, sharing your expertise and supporting peers.
• Deliver high-quality, maintainable, and scalable frontend code adhering to Julius Baer guidelines and standards.

YOUR PROFILE

• Pragmatic, proactive, and open-minded with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
• Proven frontend engineering experience with a focus on React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of frontend architectures, responsive design, and performance optimization.
• Experience with TDD, BDD, and automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD.
• Eagerness to adopt new technologies and support Julius Baer's digital transformation.
• Strong communication skills and fluent English proficiency.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent work experience.
