ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Frontend Developer, you will work closely with our development team to create and maintain user-friendly web applications. You will be involved in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with modern web technologies and financial tech applications.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with the development team to design, develop and maintain web applications.
2. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using HTML5, CSS3, Sass, and Styled Components.
3. Implement responsive designs.
4. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of coding standards.
5. Work with TypeScript to ensure type safety and code quality.
6. Assist in the deployment process using Jenkins.
7. Write and maintain unit tests using React Testing Library.
8. Use Bitbucket to manage code changes.
9. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications

You will be using your...

1. Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3.
2. Basic understanding of TypeScript.
3. Familiarity with React and Redux.
4. Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Bitbucket.
5. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
6. 1-2 years of experience in frontend development.
7. Basic understanding of responsive design principles.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Bonus Points

Experience with Sass and Styled Components. Familiarity with financial tech applications. Knowledge of Jenkins for deployment. Experience with Bitbucket. Understanding of agile methodologies. Familiarity with writing unit tests using React Testing Library.
