Job Description

What you’ll do

We are seeking a Front Office Supervisor to join the pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. Reporting to the Assistant Front Office Manager, you will oversee the operational efficiency of all Front Office areas during your shift and ensure exceptional service delivery.

  • Manage guest arrivals and departures, ensuring data accuracy across systems.
  • Schedule, assign daily tasks, lead pre-shift meetings, and train team members.
  • Monitor and evaluate team member performance.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for check-in.
  • Assist team members with guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring timely and friendly service.
  • Provide guests with accurate information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
  • Stay informed about hotel events and local activities to assist guests effectively.
  • Record guest preferences and handle messages and requests proactively.
  • Ensure correct rate quotes as per strategy and website.
  • Report issues to relevant departments and verify completion of work.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of reception and public areas.

Qualifications

What we are looking for...

  • At least 2 years of Front Office experience, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle hotel.
  • Experience with hotel pre-opening is advantageous.
  • Alignment with SLS brand values.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, positive, energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about hospitality.
  • Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.
  • Ability to make guests, team, and colleagues feel valued and comfortable.
  • Quick learner with adaptability to SLS culture.
  • Humble, open-minded, and collaborative attitude.
  • Willingness to innovate and try new approaches.
