Base pay range

20,000.00 / yr - $80,000.00 / yr

As an engineer at Bask, you will work directly with the CEO and CTO to build and design the software infrastructure that will serve as the backbone of telehealth.

We are looking to expand our software engineering team, seeking individuals with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.

Our serverless platform is built using Next.js, Drizzle, and SST for a powerful multi-tenant application.

It is important to be fluent in these frameworks, with Typescript and Three.js being essential skills.

What You'll Do

1. Design, build, and implement new services through the full development cycle: write elegant, well-tested code in a modern technology stack. Build libraries and frameworks that help us develop quickly and deliver value to our users.
2. Work closely with the product team: make architecture and design decisions, participate in stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives, and contribute to a culture focused on simple, high-impact user experiences.
3. Be an engineering generalist: from developing servers and databases, to API integration, to final UI implementation, taking end-to-end ownership across the full development lifecycle.
4. Build from 0 to 1: scale and automate existing services while bringing new innovations to life. Contribute to product strategy and development in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is a full-stack generalist with experience taking a product from 0-1. We're seeking someone entrepreneurial, hands-on, and passionate about disrupting the healthcare industry.

• Strong frontend skills
• Backend skills (SST, Drizzle, SQL, Node)
• Ability to work independently and own entire projects or large areas of the codebase
• Experience building paid products/services is preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment
