Your Mission

As a Software Engineer at Athlos, you'll take ownership of parts of our platform like interfaces for our suppliers, working closely with the rest of the team to solve real user problems.

You’ll be joining at a pivotal moment where we’ve spent the last two years learning from real customers using our platform, and are now continuously iterating and growing the product to solve more and more problems. Your contribution will directly shape both the product and the company as we evolve based on these insights.

We are looking for someone who is product-minded, has attention to detail, and is excited about working with AI tools and workflows to improve their efficiency and output. You should be naturally curious and eager to experiment with the latest technologies.

• User-Centric Solutions : Deliver a product that not only meets functional requirements but also provides an exceptional user experience.
• Take Ownership : Lead development of key platform interfaces, particularly in the provider-facing areas.
• AI-Native Mindset : Bring your curiosity and eagerness to try new tools to speed up workflows, improve product quality, and reduce repetitive work.
• Innovation & Growth : Stay ahead of frontend and AI development trends, applying what’s relevant to keep Athlos at the cutting edge.

What You'll Do

At Athlos, we're a team of around 17 people, including 4 in the product team. You’ll be joining a focused group of three engineers, where you'll help shape what we build and how we build it. You'll design and develop key parts of the platform, talk directly if needed to users and stakeholders to understand their needs, and have a say in what gets prioritized.We support each other closely, balance in-person collaboration with remote flexibility, and give you room to grow and take ownership from day one.

• Build and shape product interfaces : Work on key parts of the platform like the provider-facing tools, helping design, develop, and refine features based on real user needs.
• Collaborate and co-create : Participate in product discovery, talk to stakeholders, join workshops, and help prioritize what we build.
• Own your path : Start with strong support from the team, and gradually grow your autonomy and impact as you learn and gain confidence.
• We expect that with time you’ll gain more autonomy, become a key player in product direction, and grow your impact as the platform evolves.

• Pragmatic Simplicity : Ensure solutions are straightforward, efficient, and avoid unnecessary complexity.
• Feedback-Driven : Be open to feedback, and provide constructive feedback to others to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Frontend : Strong proficiency with React. We use Vite, but experience with other modern frameworks like Next.js, Remix, or similar is also valuable.
• Styling & UI : Comfort working with TailwindCSS, design systems, or component libraries.
• Testing : Basic understanding of testing tools like Jest, React Testing Library, or others is appreciated.
• Tooling : Familiarity with modern developer tools like ESLint, Prettier, Git, and CI / CD pipelines.
• AI Tools : Comfortable using and experimenting with AI coding assistants like Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, or v0.dev to accelerate development.
• Bonus Skills : Some hands-on experience with Python, especially around REST APIs or web scrapers, is a strong plus.

• Salary Range : €40,000 – €45,000 annually, depending on experience and fit.
