Descripción de la vacante

A leading hotel in Málaga is looking for a Front Desk Receptionist. You will be responsible for guest check-in/out, handling guest inquiries, and resolving complaints. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Tourism, relevant experience, and excellent customer service skills. Knowledge of hotel management software such as Opera is a plus.

Formación

  • At least 2 years of experience in the Front Desk / Reception Department.
  • High level of English; other languages are a plus.
  • Customer-oriented, proactive, team player with problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs.
  • Respond to guest requests and provide information.
  • Resolve complaints and refer serious issues to management.

Additional Information : This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee ACHM Spain Management S.L. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotels employment policies and practices including hiring firing discipline staffing compensation benefits and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International Inc.

Make reservations both by phone and via email or fax

Handle guest check-ins and check-outs

Respond to guest requests and provide information on all matters requested (facilities schedules surroundings etc.)

Resolve complaints and claims or refer more serious ones to the Front Desk Manager

Monitor daily billing and perform cash reconciliation

Keep the system clean and up to date

Follow up on bookings and closures and carry them out personally when necessary

Ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty

Degree in Tourism or a related field

At least 2 years of experience in the Front Desk / Reception Department

Valuable : knowledge and experience using Opera hotel management system

Languages : High level of English; other languages are a plus

Valuable : knowledge of Marsha and other hotel management software

Customer-oriented
