French Medical Language Lead (Medical / Healthcare Experience)

As a Medical Language Lead, you will oversee and guide a team of annotators to ensure the delivery of high-quality AI Data Services. You will be responsible for managing annotation projects for your locale involving medical text, transcriptions, audio, and related data.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Manage and support a team dedicated to the project of your language
• Organize and maintain all relevant documents, suggesting improvements
• Communicate regularly with the client and stakeholders for your locale
• Attend all required project meetings
• Annotate clinical data from various databases
• Work on medical transcriptions, dialogues, and clinical texts
• Conduct Quality Control, addressing potential issues efficiently
• Ensure annotation consistency across all tasks
• Ensure all deliveries meet KPIs, metrics, and quality standards
• Implement feedback at the language level
• Identify and escalate anomalies or patterns in assigned projects
• Maintain daily communication with the PM on assignments, project status, and priorities
• Foster a positive team environment
• Ensure adherence to project specifications and procedures
• Work with the PM to identify and escalate project issues or areas for improvement

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

• Background in medicine, healthcare, medical translation, or life sciences, as you will work with medical-specific content (e.g., transcriptions, audio).
• You have at least 1 year of experience in scribing / transcription / coding experience in clinical documentation.
• Native French with fluent speaking and written English
• Excellent listening skills in French and ability to understand diverse accents and dialects and varying dictation styles.
• Experience in annotation projects, ideally within the healthcare or medical domain is a plus
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• You have technical curiosity and you have worked in different technical environments
• You have high attention to detail and sensibility towards quality work
• Experience in Translation, Philology, Linguistics, or related fields is a plus
• Fluency in clinical parameters, medical terminology, knowledge of AHDI guidelines, and ontologies (such as ICD-10-CM, SNOMED-CT, CPT, RxNorm and LOINC) is a plus
