Reboot Monkey is seeking a Freelance Data Center Technician to support on-demand operations for global data centers. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot servers and networking gear, while coordinating with remote teams to ensure uptime and security.

The role requires 3+ years in data center operations, strong Cisco/Juniper networking knowledge, and fluency with Windows and Linux systems. Remote work is available with flexible hours and travel as needed.

Formación

• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• 3+ years of data center operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco/Juniper networking.
• Experience with Windows and Linux systems.
• Certifications like CCNA/CCNP, JNCIA/JNCIS, or CompTIA Linux+ are desirable.
• Willingness to travel to various data center locations on short notice.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
• Excellent communication for remote collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, networking equipment, and other hardware to ensure optimal performance and maximum uptime.
• Monitor data center operations remotely and on-site to minimize downtime.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot networking devices (Cisco/Juniper) to ensure secure operations.
• Manage Linux and Windows systems, applying updates and security patches.
• Document installations, repairs, and performance for the remote management team.
• Implement and maintain security protocols for data center infrastructure.
• Collaborate with remote IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders on projects.
