Reboot Monkey is seeking an experienced Freelance Data Center Technician to support on-demand data center operations for global clients. The role involves hardware installation, troubleshooting, and network management with remote teams for reliable, secure service.

You will work independently with flexible hours, handling Linux/Windows environments, and collaborating across time zones to ensure high uptime and performance.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in data center operations.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in IT/CS preferred but not required.
• Valid certifications like Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Juniper JNCIA/JNCIS, or CompTIA Linux+ are desirable.
• Willingness to travel to data center locations on short notice.
• Ability to work outside regular hours, including nights and weekends if needed.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, networking equipment, and hardware to ensure uptime.
• Monitor data center operations remotely and on-site to diagnose issues quickly.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot networking devices (Cisco/Juniper) for secure operations.
• Manage Linux and Windows systems, perform updates and security patches.
• Document installations, repairs, and system performance for remote teams.
• Implement security protocols to protect data center infrastructure.
• Collaborate with remote IT teams and vendors to improve operations.
