Overview

Freelance Art Director – Complex & Special Projects

We are looking for a talented Freelance Art Director to join our creative team on a project basis, contributing to some of our most complex and non-standard productions as well as high-profile special projects.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Senior Art Director, helping to elevate creative output across photography, video and digital content formats. You will bring fresh ideas, strong visual storytelling and the ability to translate brand goals into high-quality creative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Senior Art Director to shape and deliver creative concepts for complex productions and special projects.
• Provide art direction across multiple formats, including video, stills, and emerging content types (3D, virtual, AI-enhanced).
• Translate brand guidelines into compelling, elevated visual storytelling that resonates across channels.
• Work with internal teams (producers, stylists, videographers, editors) to ensure seamless creative execution.

What We\'re Looking For

• Proven experience as an Art Director in creative studios, agencies or production environments.
• Strong portfolio showcasing complex, innovative and brand-led work across digital, social and campaign platforms.
• Ability to balance creativity with structure: meeting timelines, budgets, and production constraints without compromising quality.
• Comfort working in fast-paced, collaborative environments, with openness to feedback and iteration.
• Knowledge of or interest in new creative technologies (AI-driven workflows, virtual production) is a plus.
