Semidynamics is looking for an experienced FPGA Engineer to join our team and help push the boundaries of RISC-V prototyping and emulation. In this role, you’ll integrate RTL releases into new FPGA designs, fine-tune peripheral configurations to maximize performance, and develop custom RTL modules that give our RISC-V cores the optimal I/O setup for emulation and prototyping.

• 3+ years of industrial experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics or Telecommunications.
• Experience with Xilinx (or Altera) FPGAs using Xilinx Vivado (or Altera Quartus).
• Proficient with HDL languages, preferably Verilog or SystemVerilog.
• Work experience with scripting languages, preferably Tcl and Bash.
• Work experience with git version control.
• Working in a Linux environment.
• Knowledge of AXI4/AXI4-Lite, UART, I2C, SPI protocols.
• Experience using the Integrated Logic Analyser (ILA).
• Experience in hardware debugging using laboratory equipment (multimeter, oscilloscopes, waveform generators, spectrum analysers).

Responsabilidades

• Integrate RTL code releases into new FPGA designs.
• Configure FPGA peripherals for maximizing the performance of the RISC-V prototyping solutions.
• Implement new RTL modules to provide the RISC-V core under emulation/prototyping with the optimal I/O configurations.
• Interact with other teams to understand their requirements for new features and how they can be leveraged into the FPGA designs.
• Maintain and further improve our in-house FPGA resource pool.
• Provide support and develop new features to be used in demonstration systems for company clients.

Requirements

• 3+ years of industrial experience
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics or Telecommunications.
• Experience working with Xilinx (or Altera) FPGAs using Xilinx Vivado (or Altera Quartus);
• Proficient with HDL languages, preferably Verilog or SystemVerilog;
