Formación

• 4-6 years of FP&A or Controlling experience.
• Strong analytical skills and financial modelling.
• Advanced Excel and BI tools experience.
• Experience in multinational or group reporting is a plus.
• Excellent stakeholder management and English fluency.

Responsabilidades

• Lead financial analysis including P&L, KPIs, and variance vs budget.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes.
• Deliver accurate reporting to local management and Group Finance.
• Monitor performance, identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate data into insights.
• Contribute to decision-making and performance improvement initiatives.
• Ensure data consistency, reconciliation, and reporting quality.
• Drive improvements in processes, reporting and data accessibility.

Vicens Vives, part of Sanoma Learning, is looking for an FP&A Controller to join its Finance team in Barcelona. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in financial planning, reporting, and business partnering, working closely with both local and group stakeholders.

Your Impact

You will contribute to delivering high-quality financial insights and supporting decision-making across the business, helping improve performance and drive value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial analysis, including P&L, KPIs, and variance analysis versus budget and forecast.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes.
• Deliver accurate and timely reporting to local management and Group Finance.
• Monitor business performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate financial data into actionable insights.
• Contribute to business decision-making and performance improvement initiatives.
• Ensure data consistency, reconciliation, and reporting quality.
• Drive improvements in financial processes, reporting and data accessibility.

What We're Looking For:

• 4-6 years of experience in FP&A, Controlling, or similar roles.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Advanced Excel; experience with BI tools (Power BI, SAC, etc).
• Experience in multinational or group reporting environments is a plus.
• SAP knowledge (Business One is a plus).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Hands-on, proactive, -and business-oriented mindset.
• Fluent English (mandatory), both written and spoken.

Nice to Have:

• Big 4 background (Audit/TS).
• Experience with consolidation tools (HFM or similar).
