Netenders is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller - FP&A & Consolidation to lead and optimize our finance operations across the group. You will supervise accounting, close cycles, and reporting while coordinating with top management and external advisors.

The role requires an advanced degree in accounting/finance, 5+ years in international environments, and fluency in English, French, and Spanish. You will drive budgeting, consolidation, and process improvements in a fast-paced ecommerce

  • Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • +5 years of international, fast-paced environment experience.
  • Deep understanding of accounting standards, tax compliance, and financial operations.
  • Experience in financial planning & analysis, budgeting, forecasting, audit processes, monitor cash flow, liquidity planning and working capital performance.
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, Excel/Google Sheets, and financial reporting tools.

Responsabilidades

  • Supervise daily accounting operations and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closings, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
  • Support treasury optimization and financial planning activities.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, comparing actuals with budgets and forecasts while identifying key business drivers and variances.
  • Update the Group’s financial model monthly and communicate findings to top management.
  • Prepare dashboards, KPIs, and business performance reports to support strategic decision-making and operational visibility.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across the Group.
  • Consolidate financial results from international subsidiaries and ensure reliable group reporting.
  • Coordinate audit processes and manage documentation for both internal and external audits.
  • Support complex accounting topics and ensure accuracy of technical financial reporting.
  • Support tax, legal and operational teams on international expansion, export operations, and restructuring projects.
  • Drive automation and improvements in internal controls, reporting accuracy, accounting systems, and financial processes.
  • Evaluate and mitigate financial risks, ensuring data confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
  • Support, coordinate, and progressively lead the Finance team, fostering a collaborative and accountable environment.
  • Partner closely with Sales, IT, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Experience teams to improve profitability, scalability, and business performance.
  • Analyze profitability by country, sales channel, product category, and business unit to support strategic growth decisions.
  • Support margin optimization initiatives and cost-control strategies across the Group.

We are looking for a hands-on and proactive Financial Controller - FP&A & Consolidation to join our growing international company and play a key role in leading and optimizing our finance operations.

This position combines financial controlling, accounting, consolidation, reporting, and team management responsibilities. Reporting directly to the CEO and COO, and working closely with top management and external financial advisors, you will contribute to both the operational and strategic development of the finance function.

We are looking for someone analytical, adaptable, and business-oriented, with a hands-on mindset and the ability to work both strategically and operationally in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

What you’ll be doing

Supervise daily accounting operations and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.

Oversee month-end and year-end closings, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).

Support treasury optimization and financial planning activities.

Monitor and analyze financial performance, comparing actuals with budgets and forecasts while identifying key business drivers and variances.

Update the Group’s financial model monthly and communicate findings to top management.

Prepare dashboards, KPIs, and business performance reports to support strategic decision-making and operational visibility.

What we expect from you

Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

+5 years of experience in international, fast-paced environment and data-driven environment.

Deep understanding of accounting standards, tax compliance, and financial operations.

Experience in financial planning & analysis, budgeting, forecasting, audit processes, monitor cash flow, liquidity planning and working capital performance.

Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, Excel/Google Sheets, and financial reporting tools.

Strong business acumen and ability to transform financial data into actionable business insights and recommendations.

Proactive, structured, and hands-on mindset with strong attention to detail.

Comfortable working both strategically and operationally depending on business needs.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Fluency in French, Spanish, and English is mandatory.
