A growing independent renewable energy producer is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to support financial reporting and analysis functions. Based in Sevilla, the role involves assisting in budget processes, P&L reporting, and providing professional financial advice to business leaders. Candidates should have a relevant degree and 3-5 years of experience in a similar capacity along with proficiency in Excel.

Formación

Opdenergy is a growing independent renewable energy producer (IPP) with presence in Europe, the United States, and Latin America, with more than 19 years of experience. The company develops, builds, finances, manages, and operates high-quality renewable energy projects in several countries, with a portfolio of 2.6 GW (1.3 GW operational and over 1.3 GW under construction). The entire portfolio under development exceeds 18 GW.

We are currently looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst based in Sevilla. What will you help with?

  • Support the production of monthly P&L and Cash Flow reporting, rolling forecasts, and ensure major variances are explained.
  • Support the annual budget process by country, business unit, and consolidated levels.
  • Assist in the production of periodic re-forecasts, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare executive presentations.
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders, providing assistance and professional advice on financial matters.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or similar.
  • 3-5 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Experience in renewable energy or construction sectors is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of SAP and BI tools.
