Job summary

Outrigo is seeking a hands-on Robotics Engineer to automate post-processing in additive manufacturing. You will choose hardware, define the stack and lead robotic cells from bench to production, focusing on repeatability, safety and integration into Morph production workflows.

You will program and integrate robot arms (UR/ABB/KUKA/FANUC) and develop end-effectors while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to demonstrate improvements to customers and investors.

Qualifications

• Degree in robotics, mechatronics, mechanical, electronic, or control engineering.
• PhD in Robotics or equivalent is preferred.
• 2–5 years building robotic/automated systems with shop-floor experience.

Responsibilities

• Prototype, build and iterate robotic cells for AM post-processing including removal and polishing.
• Program and integrate industrial and collaborative robot arms with safe control.
• Design end-effectors, tooling and fixturing using printed and machined parts.
• Generate robot toolpaths from CAD/STL/build files and adapt to real geometry.
• Integrate vision and metrology for location, verification and inspection.
