Job summary

Scrambly S.r.l. is seeking a Lead Product Designer to own product design end to end for mobile and web, shaping vision, standards and craft.

In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll initially design core experiences while setting design direction and later hire and lead an in-house design team. You’ll partner with Product and Engineering leadership to turn business goals, metrics and user needs into experiences people love to use daily.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product design with mobile-first consumer products.
• World-class portfolio showing exceptional UX/UI craft and end-to-end work.
• Experience as sole or lead designer with full ownership of design decisions.
• Hands-on user research, usability testing, hypothesis-driven design, rapid prototyping and A/B testing.
• Experience leading or mentoring designers, or managing agencies/external partners.
• Ability to move fast without compromising quality, turning ambiguous problems into simple solutions.
• Confident presenting and defending work with leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Skill with animation, transitions and microinteractions, and practical use of AI tools in design workflow.
• Strong ownership mindset in a fast-paced, metrics-driven startup.
• English proficiency at B2 or above.

Responsibilities

• Own the experience across mobile and web products and make final design decisions.
• Drive discovery with Product using research, data, funnels, and session data to prioritize hypotheses.
• Experiment rapidly with low-effort designs and A/B tests with Product and Engineering.
• Set the craft bar with high-fidelity designs and interaction specs.
• Build and maintain Scrambly's design language, components and patterns.
• Advocate for users and challenge product/tech decisions that hurt experience.
• Lead the function by managing external partners and growing the internal design team.
