Uptail in Spain is seeking an engineer/product-minded role to launch AI agents for B2C education customers. You will work with admissions, marketing and IT to map how enquiries become enrolments and then implement prompts, prompts and evals to improve lead-to-booking on WhatsApp and phone.

You'll own deployments from first technical call to a live agent that moves the metric we care about most: lead to booking. Join a growing team led by CTPO to shape how Uptail scales in education markets.

About Uptail

Uptail builds AI agents for B2C sales in the education sector. Our agents run on WhatsApp and voice, qualifying leads, scheduling calls and engaging prospects in real time, turning raw inbound volume into high-intent pipeline.

We're running 100,000+ conversations per month for some of the biggest education groups in Spain, including UNIR, Grupo Planeta, OMNES Education, Ironhack and Wall Street English. We've grown without proper outbound/inbound motions and we just made our first sales hires. In 2025 we raised €1.1M from leading European investors.

We sell to CMOs and CSOs at education companies. Our buyers care about speed to lead, conversion rates and CAC. If you understand customer acquisition funnels, you’ll speak their language. We target mid-market and enterprise clients, with high ACV and low churn.

Your mission

Uptail is shaping the agentic economy, defining how customers and companies interact. We imagine a world where every customer gets red carpet treatment with personalized, instant service.

We’re in growth mode, looking for early adopters eager to implement AI agents right now. That’s where you come in.

Your mission is to get our AI agents live and performing for every new customer, and to turn what you learn in the field into product. You'll own deployments end to end: from the first technical call with the customer to an agent that moves the metric that matters most to us: lead to booking.

You’ll work closely with the CTPO and the founding team and play a key role in shaping how Uptail deploys and scales.

The role

This is not a pre-sales role and not a ticket-queue engineering role. It's both halves at once: you sit with admissions, marketing and IT teams to understand how they really turn an enquiry into an enrolment and then you write the code, prompts and evals that make our agents do it better on WhatsApp and on the phone.

You’ll be the person who knows each customer's funnel best, and the person who tells the product team which problems we keep solving by hand and should solve once, for everyone.
