Job summary

FAMAR invites a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to join our Madrid team, blending Lean, data engineering, AI, and automation to transform industrial processes. You will work with operations to identify bottlenecks, design AI-powered solutions, and deploy them to production on Azure, while ensuring security and governance across enterprise systems.

You’ll collaborate with IT, Quality, and business units to drive measurable improvements, from faster lead times to higher quality, with adoption

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software or data engineering or AI development.
• Experience mapping end-to-end processes with business teams.
• Hands-on with production deployment and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Identify bottlenecks and simplify processes using Lean.
• Build and deploy AI apps, intelligent agents, and workflows.
• Connect enterprise systems via data pipelines and APIs with reliable integrations.
• Develop document automation and reporting to support operations.
• Take solutions from prototype to production on Azure with testing and monitoring.
• Work with IT and Quality to ensure security and compliance.
• Train users and drive adoption with ongoing support.
• Measure savings and scale solutions across FAMAR.
