Descripción del empleo

Lead the development, compliance training, problem solving, best practices, and general technical support in the area of Sanitation across all European Schreiber plants and joint ventures outside Europe. Collaborate with Operations Plant Leaders, Engineering, Enterprise Quality, Food Safety, chemical suppliers, and contractors to ensure equipment, processes, and the plant environment are suitably designed, maintained, and effectively cleaned for food safety. The role requires significant field presence and willingness to engage with plant materials.

Role & Responsibilities:
  1. Support the development and implementation of sanitation QSPs (Quality System Procedures) and assist in developing plant SSOPs, CIP procedures, Neptune, and sanitation audit documentation.
  2. Participate in individual Sanitation Programs and group Sanitation Essentials training for plant sanitarians and partners.
  3. Work closely with Engineering and equipment vendors to ensure new or modified equipment meets sanitary design and regulatory standards before purchase and installation. Support Neptune validation and SSOP definition during new equipment startups.
  4. Review and analyze data from sanitation audits, pathogen and environmental monitoring programs, inspections, site audits, food safety audits, customer complaints, and utilize this data to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
  5. Proactively use process Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to prevent problems affecting product quality and safety. Investigate sanitation issues leading to contamination, reduced shelf life, or customer complaints, and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  6. Collaborate with sanitation chemical vendors to maximize technical support, optimize costs, and drive projects.
  7. Participate in internal sanitation audits and address deficiencies using the EQMS database.
  8. Support PEM construction planning, prioritize Capex projects, and provide microbiology and pre-op PEM call leadership, as well as Zone 1 training support.
  9. Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Engineering, Microbiology, or related field, with 3-5 years of experience in food plant manufacturing (Maintenance, Production, or Quality).
  10. Require mid-level leadership skills, good communication, sanitation technical knowledge, understanding of cleaning/sanitizing chemicals, sanitary design, microbiology, audit skills, and proficiency in process excellence tools.
  11. Availability to travel up to 50% annually.
