Job summary

Mauri in Ballarat is seeking a Quality Coordinator to lead the implementation and maintenance of the site's Food Safety and Quality Management System, collaborating with operations to improve quality practices and drive continuous improvement. This hands-on role covers HACCP, GMP, audits, complaint investigations and driving a culture of food safety across the site, with contact to Quality Manager.

Applicants should have a qualification in Food Technology/Science or related field and experience

Qualifications

• Experience in a quality role within food manufacturing.
• Experience with HACCP and GFSI-recognised standards (e.g., BRCGS, SQF).
• Strong knowledge of GMP best practice.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and continuously improve food safety and quality systems (HACCP, supporting programs, testing, traceability, recalls).
• Support ongoing requirements of BRCGS, RSPO, Halal, Kosher and customer standards.
• Coordinate internal GMP audits and drive corrective actions to closure.
