Airbus Defence And Space in Getafe, Madrid region, Spain, seeks a Flight Test Instrumentation Systems Engineer (Military Derivatives) to design, validate, and operate flight test instrumentation for aircraft campaigns. • Engineering degree in the relevant field (Aeronautical/Industrial/Systems)
• 3–5 years of experience in systems engineering or flight test operations
• Native/Fluent Spanish and Advanced English (written & spoken)
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering methodology and MBSE
• High adaptability to complex topics and multi-site networking

Responsabilidades

• Capture and validate flight test means requirements with stakeholders and define verification/validation strategy
• Support design and production during integration of flight test means within the aircraft
• Coordinate with customers and authorities to gather evidence and issue validation statements
• Operate airborne and ground flight test means in line with safety standards and support flight test campaigns
• Process and securely store flight test data and deliver data to customers
• Maintain FTM configuration in airworthy condition and perform first-level troubleshooting

In this role you will contribute to designing, validating, and operating Flight Test Instrumentation systems to support aircraft test campaigns. You will collaborate with cross-site teams to ensure onboard and ground systems are compliant, safe, and fit for purpose. You’ll work on verification strategies, system integration, and data handling to enable successful flight testing. This is a hands-on position at Airbus with a focus on safety, collaboration, and impactful testing in a multicultural environment.
