Airbus Defence And Space in Getafe (Madrid) is seeking a Design & Development Lab Test Means Engineer (Military Derivatives) to design, manufacture, retrofit and maintain lab test means across Airbus programs. You will manage supplier activity and configure equipment for test benches, ensuring compliance with Quality, Time, Cost, and Performance targets.

This hands-on, cross-functional role requires 1–2 years’ Lab Test Means design experience, strong project management and customer‑focused

• 1-2 years of experience in Lab Test Means design.
• Advanced English; Spanish highly recommended
• Lab Test Means architecture design, configuration control, export control compliance, and Product Regulatory Compliance knowledge
• Strong project management and customer‑focused communication

Responsabilidades

• Design, manufacture, retrofit and maintain Lab Test Means across Airbus programs.
• Manage supplier activity, configure aircraft equipment within test means, and ensure compliance across projects.
• Partner with maintenance teams, provide second-level support, and drive improvements in test solutions.
• Specify and deliver test means solutions aligned with Quality, Time, Cost, and Performance targets.
• Drive supplier selection, manage subcontracted activities, and oversee project execution.
• Control configuration management and export control compliance for test means.
• Execute budget planning, tendering, regulatory compliance activities, verification, and commissioning.
• Collaborate with operating/maintenance teams and provide 2nd level support on existing test benches.
